Purchased this unit to replace a 2 1/2 year old top of the line Hoover. This basic vacuum is far superior to our top of the line unit. It is not self propelled so is much lighter. The suction on both carpet and hard floors is excellent. It is a base unit but Consumer Reports rates it right up there with the big (and expensive) boys.
Got pets……get this vacuum. Highest recommendation.
