Got my scales 2 wks. ago, and I’m tickled pink with them. At last, this old, half-blind, fat lady can weigh herself and actually READ what the scales say (unfortunately)! I have never had a problem turning mine on, as some say they have. It’s as simple as tapping gently, then stepping on.

They are attractive and sleek and don’t take up much space, yet the platform is large enough for even me to stand comfortably. And the numbers are HUGE and backlit…so easy to read for an old broad like me. One of the features I especially love is that my weight can still be read for several seconds after stepping off the scales. (This works great, unless my husband is standing near me and can see how much I REALLY weigh when I step off.)

I even use these scales to weigh large items for shipping that I sell on a popular internet auction site. I can turn the scales on, place the large box on the scales, wait a second, then remove it, and the box’s weight is still there for me to read…..down to tenths of a pound. Previously I could not read the scales I had when I placed a large item on them….the weight reading was hidden. Now I don’t have to take items to be weighed at the post office before shipping them. That’s a bonus I hadn’t expected.

How EatSmart can provide scales of this quality at such an economical price is beyond me, but I am grateful. I highly recommend them to anyone.
